Classic Bean with Bacon Soup

15 oz can Black soy beans
10 oz can condensed chicken broth
5 oz water
8 oz tomato sauce
5 slices bacon
2 tsp onion powder
Salt & pepper to taste
Place 1/3 of the beans in a blender with all the other ingredients. Blend until smooth. Pour into a pan and add the remaining beans. Simmer for 20 minutes and serve. For extra richness and flavor, you can add 2 tablespoons of bacon grease or butter. Total carbs = 16. About 2 hearty servings at 8 carbs each.
