1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup soy flour, sifted
1/2 tsp salt
1/3 cup vegetable shortening
1 cup splenda, heat resistant
2 eggs
1/2 tsp vanilla
3 tbl cocoa
1/2 cup soybeans, roasted -- can use low Carb chocolate chips
Sift all-purpose flour, soy flour, baking powder and salt together twice. Cream shortening; gradually blend in splenda and all well-beaten eggs. Beat until smooth and fluffy. Add vanilla and stir in cocoa. Add flour mixture in three portions, stirring after each addition. Add nuts. Pour into an 8" ( 200 mm ) square greased pan. Bake in moderate oven 325°F-160°C 20 to 25 minutes. Cut into squares and serve.
