6 eggs, separated
1/2 cup cold water
1-1/3 cups sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. orange extract
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1-1/2 cups sifted flour
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. cream of tartar
Beat egg yolks till thick and lemon colored. Add water and beat again till thick. Slowly add sugar, beating well after each addition. Beat for a full 10 minutes. Fold in flavorings. Sift flour and salt together. Fold in. Beat egg whites till foamy, add cream of tartar. Beat till stiff and glossy, not dry. Fold into batter.
Pour into ungreased 10 inch tube pan.
Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for about 1 hour, or until top springs back lightly when touched. Invert pan, and cool completely.
