Rhubarb Cake

1-1/2 cups brown sugar
1/2 cup margarine
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
2 cups flour
1 tsp. soda
1 cup buttermilk
1-1/2 cups chopped rhubarb
Sprinkle top of batter with brown sugar and cinnamon
Bake in a 9 by 13 inch greased and floured pan for 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
Good served with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream
