Orange Glazed Bundt Cake

3 cups sifted flour
2 cups sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1-1/2 cups unsalted butter, softened
1/3 cup buttermilk
6 large eggs
2 tsp. orange extract
2 tbl. orange zest
Glaze:
1/4 cup orange juice
1/4 cup sugar
1 tbl. orange zest
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a fluted bundt pan. Sift dry ingredients into a large bowl. Add butter, buttermilk and 3 eggs, and beat on low until dry ingredients are moistened. Increase speed to high and beat 2 minutes. Add orange extract and orange zest and mix on medium. Add remaining 3 eggs one at a time, and beat on high for 30 seconds after each addition.
Pour batter into prepared pan, and bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Glaze:
In a small saucepan, heat orange juice, sugar and zest over low heat. Stir until sugar dissolves. Pierce cake with utility fork. Pour 1/2 the glaze over cake while it is still in the pan. Cool cake for 15 minutes. Invert onto serving plate and pour other 1/2 of glaze onto cake top
