Hot Fudge Pudding Cake

1 cup sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 cup sugar
2 tbl. cocoa
1/2 cup milk
2 tbl. melted butter
1/4 cup cocoa
1 cup brown sugar
1-3/4 cups hot water
Heat oven to 350 degrees:
Sift dry ingredients into a bowl. Stir in milk and melted butter. Spread in square pan 9 by 9 by 2. Sprinkle with mixture of brown sugar, and the 1/4 cup cocoa. Pour hot water over entire batter, carefully.
Bake 35-40 minutes.
During baking, the cake mixture will rise to the top and chocolate pudding will form on the bottom.
Good served with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
