Delicious Applesauce Cake

2 cups flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. soda
1-1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup butter
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 cup sweetened applesauce
TOPPING:
2/3 cups butterscotch morsels
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup evaporated milk
1/2 cup coconut
3/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Put the topping on the cake before you bake it.
Bake in a 9 by 13 inch greased and floured pan at 350 degrees
Check for doneness after 35-40 minutes
