Chocolate Orange Cake

2 cups sifted flour
2 cups sugar
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
4 ounces melted unsweetened chocolate
1 cup orange juice
1/2 cup softened butter
1/2 cup sour cream
2 eggs
2 tsps. orange extract
1/2 cup semisweet chocolate pieces

In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, soda, baking powder, salt, chocolate, orange juice and butter.Beat one minute at medium speed. Add the sour cream, eggs and extract. Beat 2 minutes at medium speed. Pour batter into greased and floured 9 by 13 inch pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes or until cake tester inserted in center of cake comes out clean.

FROSTING:
1/2 cup butter
3-1/2 cups powdered sugar
3 tablespoons orange juice
1 tsp. orange extract

Combine all ingredients, blend well, frost cake.
Sprinkle on the 1/2 cup chocolate chips, return to warm oven until chocolate softens, remove from oven and using a knife swirl the chocolate into the frosting
