Chocolate Cream Cheese Cake

3 cups sifted flour
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup cocoa
2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
2 cups water
2/3 cup oil
2 tbl. vinegar
1 tsp. vanilla
FILLING:
1-8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
1 egg
1/3 cup sugar
1-6 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
In a large mixing bowl, sift together flour, 2 cups sugar, cocoa, soda, and salt. Add water, oil, vinegar, and vanilla. Beat well.
In a small bowl, combine cream cheese, egg,and 1/3 cup sugar.
Pour the cake batter into 9 by 13 inch pan. Drop the cream cheese filling by spoonfuls onto the cake batter. Sprinkle the chocolate chips over all.
Bake at 350 degrees 30-35 minutes or until cake tests done in the middle.
