Chocolate Banana Upside Down Cake

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
2-3 bananas
Melt butter over low heat in square pan. Sprinkle brown sugar over butter. Peel bananas, cut into slices and arrange slices evenly over brown sugar mixture.
Chocolate Cake:
1 cup flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/3 cup cocoa
1 cup sugar
1/3 cup butter
1/4 cup water
1/3 cup milk
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
Sift together dry ingredients. Blend in rest of ingredients and mix well, about 3 minutes. Pour batter evenly over bananas.
Bake 35-40 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in cake comes out clean.
