2 cups sugar
1 cup butter or margarine
1 cup blackberries
3 tsps. soda dissolved in 1 cup buttermilk
3 cups flour
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
3 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
Cream sugar, and butter or margarine. Add remaining ingredients. Pour into oblong pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
