Cream and beat together until thick and fluffy:
1/4 cup butter
1-1/3 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
Sift together:
2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
3/4 tsp. salt
Add dry ingredients to the creamed mixture alternately with:
1 cup dairy sour cream
Add:
2 medium-ripe bananas (mashed)
1/2 cup chopped nuts
Stir briefly. Turn into a buttered baking pan, 13 x 9 by 2 inches, and bake for 35 to 40 minutes in a pre-heated 350 degree oven. Test with a toothpick inserted into the center for doneness.
