Impossible Pumpkin Pie

1 can (16 oz.) pumpkin
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup Bisquick baking mix
2 tbl. margarine,or butter ,softened
1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk
2 eggs
2-1/2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
2 tsp. vanilla
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Grease pie plate 9 x 11 1/4 inch or 10 x 1 1/2 inch. Beat all ingredients until smooth, approximately 1 minute in blender on high, or 2 minutes with a rotary beater. Pour into pan. Bake until you can insert a knife into the center and it comes out clean, approximately 50 to 55 minutes. Garnish with whipped cream, if desired.
