1 cup of ground meat (lamb, chicken, sirloin, turkey or salmon)
2 cups of grain such as basmati rice, brown rice, oatmeal, whole wheat past or potato (it is beneficial to combine several grains in one recipe )
1/2 cup grated fresh veggies, zucchini, carrots, cabbage, broccoli
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 clove fresh garlic, minced
1 teaspoon fresh parsley
water or low salt chicken broth
Cook grains according to package directions. Add 1-2 cups of water or low salt broth to meat and cook until no longer pink.
Put everything together and add veggies last. Veggies may be raw or cooked. Mix well and freeze in individual containers, keeping about 2 days worth out at a time.
