Russian Tea Cookies

1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 cup butter, softened
2 tsp. vanilla
2 cups flour
1 cup finely chopped almonds or pecans
1/4 tsp. salt
Preheat oven to 325*.
In a large bowl combine the first 3 ingredients; blend well. Stir in the remaining ingredients until the dough holds together. Shape into 1 inch balls. Place 1 inch apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake for 15-20 minutes or until set but not brown.
Immediately remove from pan. Cool slightly; roll in powdered sugar. Cool,completely. Roll again in the powdered sugar.
