1/2 cup butter
1/3 cup sugar
2 egg yolks
1 cup flour
1/3 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. grated lemon rind
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. poppy seeds
Cream the butter and sugar. Beat in the egg yolks and other ingredients. Mix well, cover bowl and chill at least 2 hours. Shape the dough into 1 inch balls, place on greased cookie sheets, and flatten with a fork.'
Bake at 375* for 10 minutes.
