Oatmeal Fudge Cookies

2 cups sugar
1/2 cup evaporated milk
2 tbl. cocoa
1/2 cup butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup chopped nuts
2-1/2 cups quick cooking oatmeal
Combine the sugar, milk, cocoa and butter in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat for 2 minutes, stirring constantly to prevent sticking. Remove from the heat. Add the vanilla and nuts; mix well. Add the oatmeal and blend thoroughly.
Drop by tsp. onto waxed paper.
