Lemon Crescent Bars

1-8 oz.) can refrigerated crescent dinner rolls

Filling:
1 cup sugar
1 cup coconut
2 tbl. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. grated lemon peel
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tbl. lemon juice
2 tbl. butter, melted
2 eggs, lightly beaten

Preheat oven to 375*
Unroll dough into 2 long rectangles. Place in an ungreased 13 by 9 inch pan. Press over the bottom and 1/2 inch up the sides to form a crust. Firmly press perforations to seal.
Bake for 5 minutes.

Meanwhile, in a medium bowl, combine all filling ingredients; mix well.
Pour over partially baked crust. Return to the oven. Bake an additional 12-17 minutes or until light golden brown. Cool and cut into bars.
