Golden Apricot Bars

1-1/2 cups flour
1-1/2 cups oatmeal
1 cup sugar
1 cup finely chopped nuts
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 cup melted butter
2 cups apricot jam
Blend all dry ingredients. Add melted butter. Press 2/3 of the mixture into a 13 by 9 inch pan. Spoon apricot jam evenly over mixture in the pan. Spoon remaining mixture over jam. Bake at 375* for 40-45 minutes. Cool and cut into bars.
