Cranberry Orange Cookies

1-1/2 cups firmly packed brown sugar
1 cup butter, softened
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2-1/4 cups flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 cups rolled oats
1 cup sweetened dried cranberries
1 cup chopped orange slice candies
Glaze:
3/4 cup powdered suar
3 tsp. orange juice
Preheat oven to 350*
In a large bowl, combine brown sugar and butter; beat until light and fluffy. Add vanilla and eggs; blend well. Add flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt; mix well. Stir in oats, cranberries and chopped candies
Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake for 9-11 minutes or until golden brown. Cool one minute. Remove from baking sheet. Cool 15 minutes.
Glaze:
In a small bowl combine glaze ingredients, adding enough orange juice for desired drizzling consistency.
