Chocolate Butter Cookies

3/4 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg yolk
1 tsp. almond extract
1-1/2 cups flour
1/4 cup Baking Cocoa
Preheat oven to 375°.
In a bowl cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg yolk and almond extract, beating with an electric mixer at medium speed until well blended.
Stir together flour and cocoa. Gradually add to butter mixture, mixing well after each addition.
Drop dough by teaspoonfuls 1 inch apart onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 7 to 9 minutes. Remove cookies to wire rack to cool.
Makes 24 cookies.
