Chocolate Almond Bonbons

2 cups sifted flour
1/2 tsp. salt
4 oz. milk chocolate candy
2 tbl. milk
3/4 cup butter
1/4 cup sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
Sift together the flour and salt. Melt the chocolate with the milk over hot water or in a Microwave. Cream the butter; add gradually the sugar and vanilla. Cream well. Add the dry ingredients gradually; mix thoroughly. Shape into balls using a rounded teaspoonful of dough for each. Punch a hole in the center and fill with 1/4 tsp. Almond Filling. Seal. Place on ungreased baking sheet.
Bake at 350* for 12-15 minutes. Roll in powdered sugar after baking or granulated sugar before baking.
Almond Filling:
1/2 cup almonds
1 unbeaten egg white
1 tbl. water
1/2 tsp. almond extract.
Mix well.
