Butter Pecan Cookies

1 cup butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2-1/4 cups sifted flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup chopped pecans
Cream the butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs and vanilla. Combine the dry ingredients; add to the creamed mixture and mix well. Stir in pecans.
Drop by teaspoons onto greased cookie sheets. Bake at 375* for approximately 10 minutes.
