Apple Spice Cake

1-1/2 cups chopped apples
1 cup raisins
1 spice cake mix
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup oil
1 cup sour cream
4 eggs
1/2 cup brown sugar
preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a bundt, or a 9 by 13 inch pan. Sprinkle with the 1/2 cup brown sugar. Dot with butter.
Spread apples and raisins over bottom of pan. In a large bowl combine cake mix, 1/2 cup water, oil, sour cream and eggs. Beat on high for 3 minutes.
Pour batter into prepared pan.
