Vermont Winter Maple Coffee

this is from my southern living cookbook this is a sweet dessert coffee
1 cup half-and-half
1/4 cup pure maple syrup
1 cup of fresh brewed coffee
Sweetened whipped cream
Combine half and half and syrup in a sauce pan over medium heat stirring constantly until thoroughly heated (do not boil!!).
Stir in coffee.
Serve with sweet whipped cream.
