This high energy recipe is great for backpacking, and no clean up!
instant mashed potato flakes
grated or powdered cheese
dehydrated onion
precooked bacon bits
Ziploc bag
Before camp, measure out 3/4 to 1 cup of potato flakes into a Ziploc bag. Add cheese, onion, and bacon. Seal the bag airtight.
At camp, slowly add hot water and stir until a consistency of mashed potatoes is achieved. Enjoy it right out of the bag!
