1 lb. ground beef
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1/2 tsp. oregano
1 egg
1/2 tsp. garlic
Mix together and shape into 20 meatballs. These can be browned if desired. Place in a Dutch oven with 1 can French onion soup and 1/4 cup water 3 med. potatoes, peeled and quartered 3 med. carrots and 1 celery stalk cut into chunks
and 1 med. onion, chopped
Cover and cook until tender 30 to 45 minutes.
