Hiker's Hot Dogs

1 tbl. minced onion
1-12 oz. can beer
1 tbl. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup chili sauce
12 all beef hot dogs, quartered
6 French rolls, split
Mix onion, beer, Worcestershire sauce, chili sauce and hot dogs together. Simmer for 30 minutes. Pour into a wide-necked thermos bottle. Serve on split rolls.
Can be frozen, sealed in a plastic bag and reheated at the campsite.
