1/2 cup cocoa
1-1/4 cups sugar
1/3 cup cornstarch
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 cups milk
3 tablespoons butter
1-1/2 teaspoons vanilla
In a large saucepan, mix together cocoa, sugar, salt and cornstarch. Gradually stir in milk and place over medium heat. Cook, stirring constantly, until thick. Remove from heat. Stir in butter and vanilla. Serve warm or cold.
