Pumpkin Raisin Muffins

1-1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp.nutmeg
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup canned pumpkin
1 tsp. vanilla
5 tbl. butter, melted
1 egg beaten
1/2 cup raisins
Grease 12 muffin cups. Mix dry ingredients together. Mix Milk, pumpkin, vanilla, butter and egg in separate bowl. Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and add nuts or raisins. Stir just until flour is moistened. Batter should be lumpy.
Fill muffin cups 2/3 full. Bake 18-20 minutes in a 400 degree F. oven. Remove from pan to rack to cool.
