Persimmon Bread

1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 cups sugar
1 cup oil
4 large eggs
1 tsp. salt
1 cup persimmon pulp
2/3 cup water
2 tsp. soda
3 cups flour
1 cup chopped walnuts
Mix spices and sugar together. Add the oil, eggs and salt. Add persimmon and water alternately with the sifted baking soda and flour. Fold in the nuts. Grease two 9 by 5 inch loaf pans. Pour in the batter. Bake one hour at 350* or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
