Oatmeal Tea Bread

1-1/4 cups sifted flour
1 cup quick cooking rolled oatmeal
3/4 cup sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
2 large eggs
1-1/4 cups applesauce
1/2 cup raisins
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup milk
Streusel Topping:
2 tbl. firmly packed brown sugar
2 tbl. chopped pecans
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
Preheat oven to 350*.
Mix flour, oats, sugar, salt, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and nutmeg together in a large bowl. Set aside.
Combine eggs, applesauce, raisins, oil and milk in a bowl. Make a well in reserved flour mixture. Stir applesauce mixture until flour is JUST moistened. Grease a 9 by 5 by 3 inch loaf pan. Turn the batter into the pan.
Streusel Topping:
Mix brown sugar, pecans and cinnamon togetherin a small bowl. Sprinkle on top of the batter.
Bake for 55-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
