Chocolate Applesauce raisin Muffins

1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
1/4 cup Cocoa
3/4 cup applesauce
1 1/4 cup unsifted flour
1 cup sugar
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 cup raisins
Blend butter and cocoa. Add the applesauce. Set aside. In a large bowl, combine dry ingredients. Add cocoa mixture and eggs. Blend just until moistened. Fold in raisins. Spoon into greased medium sized muffins cups. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes. Makes 12 muffins.
