Caraway Onion Muffins

2 tbl. butter
1/2 cup minced onion
1-3/4 tbl.caraway seeds
1-3/4 cups flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 cup sour cream
1/4 cup oil
1/2 cup milk
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a muffin pan.
Melt butter in a small skillet over medium heat. Saute onions with the seeds until soft and slightly brown.
Combine flour, baking powder, soda, and salt in a mixing bowl.
In another bowl, beat eggs until smooth. Stir in the sour cream, oil, milk and onion mixture. Add to flour mixture and mix just until blended.
Bake for 15-20 minutes.
