Almond Poppy Seed Muffins I

1-1/2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
3/4 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
3/4 cup vegetable oil
3/4 cup milk
1 egg
1 tsp. almond extract
2 tbl.poppy seeds
Heat oven to 350.
In a large bowl, stir the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and poppy seeds together. In a small bowl, whisk together the oil, milk, eggs and almond extract. Pour the milk mixture into the dry mixture and stir just until moistened. Fill prepared muffin tins 3/4 full. Bake at 25-30 minutes until golden brown. Makes 12 muffins.
