1 cup flour
1-1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup sugar
1 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup butter or margarine
4 cups fresh or canned fruit or berries; drained
1 cup fruit juice
Mix until smooth the dry ingredients with the milk and vanilla. Melt butter
in 8 x 10" baking pan. Pour batter over melted butter. Place over batter
the fruit. Pour fruit juice over the top.
Bake in preheated 350° oven for 30 - 35 minutes, until light brown. Yield: 8 servings
