6 potatoes, peeled & cut into bite size pieces 2 onions, chopped 1 carrot, pared & sliced 1 stalk celery, sliced 4 chicken bouillon cubes 5 c. water 1 tbsp. salt & pepper 1/3 c. butter 1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk
Put all ingredients except evaporated milk in crock pot. Cover and cook on low 10 to 12 hours or on high 3 to 4 hours. Stir in milk during last hour.
