Ingredients (use vegan versions):
- One small can (or half-cup fresh) crushed pineapple
- half a can of juice-sweeted fruit cocktail
- 1/3 cup of orange juice
- 1/4 cup grapefruit or pineapple juice (frozen concentrate is fine)
- 6-7 ice cubes
- 2 Tablespoons water
Directions:
Simply combine the ingredients in a blender, and blend until smooth.
This shake
is
absolutely delicious....it manages to have a really creamy texture without any
sort of
dairy or soy product. I make them for breakfast, lunch, snacks...and it's a
great way to
get kids to eat fruit.
