Art Jensen's Hot Pepper Sauce

Ingredients (use vegan versions):

  • 15 oz can tomato sauce
  • 15 oz can stewed tomatoes
  • 6 oz can tomato paste
  • 12 oz jalapenos
  • 4 oz green chiles (big ones)
  • 1/2 white onion
  • paprika
  • concentrated Lemon Juice
  • few squirts Tabasco sauce
  • apple cider vinegar
  • miscellaneous peppers (to taste)
  • vegan sugar
  • red pepper (the Italian kind)
  • chili powder
  • celery seed
  • cumin seed
  • onion salt (a tad)
Directions:

Finely dice the onions and peppers, chop the stewed tomatoes. Mix it all together and cook over low heat for about 30 minutes. Makes about 5 cups.
