1 c. salt 1/2 c. cornstarch 2/3 c. water
Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until it is a thick, doughy mass. Remove from range and cool. Knead in various vegetable dye colors. Roll in small balls, wrap in waxed paper or a plastic bag. Keep cool, preferable in refrigerator. Make a hole with a toothpick through the balls and string beads when dry. Also, you can make dishes, fruits, or vegetables. Turn occasionally when drying.
