Not for eating!! 1 tbsp. ground cloves 1 tbsp. nutmeg 3/4 c. applesauce 2 tbsp. white glue In medium bowl combine cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg. Add applesauce and glue. Stir to combine. Work mixture with hands 2 to 3 minutes or until dough is smooth and ingredients are thoroughly mixed. Divide into 4 portions. Roll out each portion to 1/4" thickness. Cut with cookie cutters and make a hole in top with a straw or toothpick. Place on wire racks and dry at room temperature for several days. Turn over each day. Thread ribbon through hole. Makes 32 (2") ornaments.
