An endless variety of materials may be used for interesting collage textures and designs. Among the many items successfully used are leaves, grass, flowers, and sticky, textured materials, corn, bread, peas, popcorn, cottage, textured things such as sandpaper, foil, yarn, sponges, or cards, wallpaper, old Valentines, or anything that happens to suit your fancy - steel wool, and of course, bits of paper, cardboard, wrapping and old Christmas cards.
