2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. canning salt
1 tbsp. alum
2 c. boiling water
3 tbsp. oil
Mix first three dry ingredients. Boil water and oil together. Pour hot mix over dry mix. Mix with electric mixer. Add food color if desired.
