6 oz. (3/4 c.) ground cinnamon
1 tbsp. allspice
2 tbsp. ground cloves
1 tbsp. ground nutmeg
1 c. smooth applesauce
Mix dry ingredients. Stir in applesauce. Mixture will be stiff. Roll out, like dough, to 1/4 inch thick. Cut out with cookie cutters and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Use toothpick to make hole to string ribbon. Dry uncovered 4 days.
