Pumpkin Streusel Muffins

3-1/2 cups flour
1-1/4 cups packed brown sugar
1 Tbl. plus 1 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. cloves
1-1/4 cups cooked pureed pumpkin or canned pumpkin
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup milk
2/3 cup vegetable oil
In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, brown sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, salt,cloves and nutmeg. Set aside.
Place pumpkin in a large bowl. Whisk in eggs, milk and oil. Add flour mixture and stir until moistened and combined. Line muffin tins with paper muffin cups and fill.
Streusel topping:
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
2 Tblsp butter
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Place brown sugar, cinnamon and butter in small mixing bowl and stir until combined. Stir in walnuts. Sprinkle streusel over tops of muffins.
Bake muffins in preheated 375 degree oven 20-25 minutes.
