Irish Coffee Eggnog Punch

Christmas cheer! This is rich, elegant and delicious. Easy to double or triple for a holiday open house.
2 quarts eggnog
1/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
3 tablespoons instant coffee powder
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 cup Irish whiskey
1 quart coffee ice cream
Combine first five ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
Beat at low speed until smooth; stir in whiskey. Chill 1 to 2 hours. Pour into a punch bowl.
Top punch with scoops of ice cream.
