Try a dash of this in your homemade cranberry sauce or bottle it for gifts.
4 cups cranberries, coarsely chopped (fresh or frozen)
3 cups sugar
2 cups gin
1 teaspoon vanilla
Combine all ingredients in a large lidded container or jar.
Cover and stand at room temperature for 6 weeks.
Strain twice through four layers of cheesecloth.
